Everest Base Camp Trek
- Duration : 17 Days Trip
- Altitude : 5380 M
USD$2900USD$2800- starting price
The most needed and targeted trek of a trekker is the Everest Region Trekking in Nepal. Conquering the world's most majestic and magnificent piece is a journey full of scenic adventure. This journey to the top of the world at 8848 meters begins from 1300 meters above sea level. Trekking through this area, you'll see other world-famous Himalayas such as Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Oyu and Mt. Makalu. In the eastern region, the Everest Trekking trail locates in the very north of the zone within the Sagarmatha National Park covering an area of 1148 sq. Kilometre. Trekkers can encounter the Sherpa culture as they walk alongside the Sherpa community and can also visit Thyangboche Monastery that has been in the area for the past 500 years. If you are lucky enough, you may also encounter a few wild animals.
The Everest Base Camp Trek is the only route taken by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay on their path to reach the world's highest peak, Mt. Everest. The trek leads you with a well-graded route to less rugged ridges. However, the climbers should always keep in mind the core aspect that it is not easy to walk through the mighty Himalayas.

Arrive at Kathmandu
When you arrive at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from our organization will greet you and wish you a warm welcome to Nepal before driving you to the hotel you've reserved. After the check-in process is complete, you can unwind and sleep at the hotel.
In order to familiarize you with some good restaurants, ATMs, money changers, and other vital places you might need during your stay in Thamel, the office staff will later accompany you on a brief tour of the neighborhood.
Day 2
Half-day Sightseeing around World Heritage Sites
After breakfast, we will introduce you to your tour guide and arrange for him to pick you up at your hotel for a fascinating excursion to Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath.

In order to go to Phakding from Lukla, we will hike through Chaurikharka Village and then descend to Dudhkoshi Ghat (2,530m/ 8,300ft).
As we will also be acclimatizing today, the trek will be brief and delightful. We can use our free time to explore nearby monasteries (like Rimishung Monastery) and get ready for a challenging trek the next day.

After waking up, we will continue our trek along the northern bank of the Dudh Koshi River while taking in the magnificent scenery and over a number of suspension bridges, including the Hillary Suspension Bridge. We'll have our first glimpse of Mount Everest from this forest. We will reach Namche Bazaar, the entrance to Everest, after further hiking.
Day 5
Rest day and acclimatization at Namche Bazaar
At Namche Bazaar itself, it is time to adjust. We advise you to visit Namche Bazaar because it has lots of wifi-enabled cafes, restaurants, gift shops, and gear stores. There are a number of hiking alternatives available to us, including stops at the Hillary School, Sherpa villages, Syangboche Airport, and yak pastures.
Everest enthusiasts should not pass up the opportunity to hike up to the Everest View Hotel, where they may take in the amazing views of Mount Everest.
Day 6
Trek from Namche (3,440m / 11,285ft) to Tengboche/ Deboche (3,855m / 12,850ft)
We will depart Namche today and proceed to Tengboche. Although the walk is difficult due to the trail's many ups and downs and passage through woodlands, the views are extremely rewarding. Additionally, if you're lucky, you might see Himalayan Thars, pheasants, and musk deer.
You will drop to Phunki Thenga Village near the conclusion of the walk, but once you leave Phunki Thenga, you will continue to climb until you reach Tengboche. Tengboche has an unique natural beauty that allows for breathtaking views of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Lhotse. You will also have the opportunity to visit Tengboche Monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu Region, on this day.
Day 7
Trek from Tengboche (3,855m / 12,850ft) to Dingboche (4,360m / 14,290ft)
We will continue to Dingboche after breakfast. We will pass numerous Chortens, mani walls, and tiny settlements along the road, including Pangboche, from which you may take in the breathtaking views of Mt. Ama Dablam.
Day 8
Rest day and acclimatization at Dingboche
Once more, acclimatization is required. By the time we arrive in Dingboche, we will have ascended significantly, and it will take some time for our bodies to adapt to the thin air and high altitude.
We will be climbing the ridge above Dingboche to see Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Cho Oyu, and Makalu, so as to keep ourselves busy.
Day 9
Trek from Dingboche (4,360m / 14,290ft) to Lobuche (4,930m / 16,175ft)
Starting from the trail that leads to a little ascent to the ridge above Pheriche Village, the journey to Lobuche will begin. The Khumbu Glacier will soon be in your path as the climb ascends higher to the Thukla Hills. You can see memorial sculptures for climbers who perished in this area near the Thukla Hills.
We continue on our journey till we arrive at Lobuche, our intended destination for the day.
Day 10
Trek from Lobuche (4,930m / 16,175ft) to EBC (5,364m / 17,598ft) and back to Gorak Shep (5,185m / 17,010ft)
This is a unique day since we will climb Base Camp. First, we will hike via the Khumbu Glacier's lateral moraine before arriving at the picturesque Gorak Shep Village, which is encircled by snow-capped mountains. We climb up to the Base Camp after leaving our stuff at Gorak Shep.
The tallest mountain in the world can only be reached from here. You will take in the breathtaking views from EBC, capture them on camera, consider your experiences and accomplishments, and then return to Gorak Shep. The Khumbu Glacier, the world's deepest glacier, can be seen along the journey.
Day 11
Hike to Kala Patthar(5,555m / 18,208ft) viewpoint, trek to Gorak Shep then to Pheriche (4,250m/13,945ft)
To see the sunrise over Mt. Everest and other peaks, we will get up early from Gorak Shep and head to Kala Patthar. You have never witnessed anything as breathtaking as the early morning sunlight illuminating Mount Everest, we assure you.
Then, after some time at the vantage point, we'll make the walk back to Gorak Shep in time for breakfast. After a little period of relaxation, we will set off on our daily trip to Pheriche.
Day 12
Trek from Pheriche (4,250m / 13,945ft) to Tengboche (3,855m / 12,850ft)
We will have adecent night's sleep at Pheriche, then get up early, eat breakfast, and go down to Tengboche. Our route takes us past juniper and rhododendron forests, across the Imja Khola bridge, and ultimately to Tengboche, where we will spend the night.
Day 13
Trek from Tengboche (3,855m / 12,850ft) to Monjo (2,835m/9,298ft)
After traversing yet another suspension bridge, we ascend the valley's other side to reach the winding trail that returns us to Namche Bazaar. To reach the suspension bridge across the Dudh Kosi River and the small settlement of Monjo, one must descend Namche Hill steeply.
Monjo is a more tranquil location to stay than Namche, which also means our porters will have a less taxing hike back to Lukla the next day. Spend the night at Monjo.
Day 14
Trek from Monjo to Lukla (2,860m/9,380ft)
Reversing our footsteps along the Dudh Kosi's east bank, we make the last ascent down to Lukla, reaching there sometime in the middle of the afternoon, giving us plenty of time to unwind and revel in the sense of accomplishment we've achieved.
At the end of the climb, Lukla is a bustling city with a colorful mix of Sherpas, trekkers, and soldiers. It's a wonderful location to explore. Spend the night at Lukla.
Day 15
Fly back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, we make our way to the airport to catch our flights. There are few drinks and snacks available, and the airport building is very cold. Once you start speeding down into the sky, the flight is thrilling. The plane continues on to Kathmandu after avoiding the hillside beneath Number Peak and avoiding the Lamjura Pass.
Day 16
Leisure day at Kathmandu
A leisurely day in Kathmandu is followed by a celebration and farewell dinner. You can request that your guide take you on a tour of the Kathmandu Valley. You can visit the Narayanhiti Museum, which was formerly the residence of the last monarch of Nepal, as well as other museums in the valley on this day. You could also visit Nagarkot's summit.
