The gentle ascent from Chakhewa Bhanjyang (2300m) towards the north follows an extensive ridge path, historically utilized as a grazing ground for local livestock for generations. This expansive pastureland teems with diverse wildlife and lush vegetation.

According to Ramesh Rai, a researcher, the spring season brings forth a dazzling array of over 12 rhododendron species in bloom. Scattered along the ridges are numerous ponds, serving as vital water sources for both wild animals and domesticated livestock. After a moderate 5-6 hours of trekking, one arrives at Dhotre Deurali (2752m), where a handful of herders' homes offer basic homestay facilities along with authentic Nepali cuisine.

Continuing the journey the following day, the trail maintains a similar altitude, meandering through a landscape transitioning from subtropical to temperate and eventually sub-alpine forests. The uninterrupted stretch of flat ridge-walking reveals panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, juxtaposed with the scenic mid-hill landscapes, ensuring an engaging trekking experience throughout.

After an effortless 4-5 hour hike, Haans Pokhari (Duck Pond, 2962m) is reached, where the serene beauty of the surroundings beckons weary travelers to pause and rejuvenate. To the northeast lies Maiyung Danda (3333m), a lofty peak worth ascending for its commanding viewpoint, achievable with just a few hours' climb.
